April Fool's Day

OK, so I'm a little behind but here's my favorite April Fool's Prank of all time . . .

In 1998 an author under the pseudonym April Holiday published an article saying the Alabama legislature was passing a law that Pi = 3.0.  Here's the link to the full story, as published in Time Magazine,
